Cold-Pressed Groundnut Oil in Hyderabad
Groundnut oil pressed in a wooden chekku at our Hyderabad counters, filtered through cloth and bottled the same week. Not refined, not bleached, not deodorised - which is why it still smells of roasted peanut when you open it.
How it is made, in the shop
Shelled groundnuts are cleaned and sun-dried, then crushed slowly in a wooden press kept around 40-45C. Roughly three kilos of groundnut give one litre of oil, which is the honest reason cold-pressed costs more than refined. The press runs in the customer area at both Hyderabad stores, so you can stand and watch the run that fills your bottle.
Why people buy it here
Telugu kitchens cook in groundnut oil more than any other, which is why this is the fastest-moving oil in both Hyderabad shops. If you grew up on palli nune from a village ghani, this is the closest thing on sale in the city.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy cold-pressed groundnut oil in Hyderabad?
At either Miller Stores outlet - Kondapur (Raghavendra Colony, Serilingampally 500084) or KPHB Road, Old MIG BHEL, Serilingampally 500032. Both are open 10:00 to 21:00 every day and press on site.
Is the groundnut oil pressed in the Hyderabad store itself?
Yes. The wooden press sits in the customer area at both Hyderabad outlets, not in a back room or a separate factory. You are welcome to watch your bottle being filled.
Do you deliver cold-pressed groundnut oil across Hyderabad?
We deliver the same day to Kondapur, Gachibowli, Madhapur, HITEC City, Miyapur, KPHB, Kukatpally and Serilingampally, and ship to the rest of Hyderabad and across India.
How is this different from the groundnut oil in a Hyderabad supermarket?
Most supermarket groundnut oil is solvent-extracted and refined, which strips the aroma and the vitamin E to extend shelf life. Ours is mechanically pressed and only cloth-filtered, so it is fresher, stronger smelling and meant to be used within a few months.
