Very hot, deep red, and nothing else. Whole dried chillies bought straight from Karnataka farmers, ground in front of you. No added colour, no preservatives, lab-tested.

Some powders get their colour from added dye or fillers. Check any brand at home: sprinkle a spoon on a glass of water.
Dye bleeds into the water within seconds. Grit sinks to the bottom.
Water tints gently over time. No streaks, no grit.
